Quality dental care for the Broome community.
After graduating from Griffith University in 2009 and spending a year at the Rockhampton Base Hospital, Claire decided to leave the sunshine state for a one-year adventure in Kununurra. Nine years later, now with a husband and baby in tow, Claire made the move to Broome as her husband was “sick of catching barramundi” and wanted the chance to do some blue water fishing. With Broome now firmly home for their family, Claire joined the Bruce Rudeforth team in 2022. Enjoying the high standard of general dentistry at the clinic, as well as its wonderful clientele, Claire became principal dentist and owner in 2024. Her passion is providing high quality care whilst developing long-standing relationships with her patients. Claire is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and is dedicated to continuing education in dentistry in order to improve her skills. Claire loves being part of a family-based general dental practice.
The practice has been operating for fourteen years under the name Bruce Rudeforth-The Broome Dentist. As the practice has expanded and now employs three dentists we have rebranded to Broome Dental Practice. While Fran took the opportunity to retire after a long career being the warm and welcoming face of the practice, Bruce still loves working as a dentist, chatting to patients and will continue working part time in the practice with no plans to retire!
